Free Legacy Food approached the us to help them build an unconventional e-commerce site. The site would need the functionality of an e-commerce site while maintaining the simplicity and informational capacity of a direct response site.
Instead of search engines, site traffic would be largely driven through radio and print advertisement. We went to work designing a simple and informative site that showcased the food instead of buckets (a new spin on the food storage industry). We used “hungry” colors and simplified the product information area to be more user friendly. The crowning touch was the use of a handwritten font to help you navigate the site. Being so used to the structure of digital fonts, the organic text helps capture the attention of the end user.
